Movimento Camaleão was created with the purpose of generating job opportunities for underprivileged people and encouraging solidarity initiatives within the community, always connecting those who need assistance with those who have the power to make things happen.
The project was born from the restless mind of Gustavo Nunes, director of Turbilhão de Ideias, a company active in the Arts and Entertainment world, with an award-winning track record and more than 60 cultural projects carried out in Brazil and abroad.

It all began in April 2017, when Gustavo brought together, at a major event, professionals aspiring to enter the job market with entrepreneurs, producers, and opinion leaders. The event received support from renowned figures in Theater and Music and marked the beginning of the Movement that came to be known as Chameleon. “Chameleon symbolizes change, flexibility, adaptability, and personal growth.” Nothing could better represent something that is also essential for all of us: hope.
Over the years, Chameleon has built a solid and respected name through solidarity campaigns in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. It has helped charitable institutions collect food, clothing, and even expressions of affection. Like a chain of interlaced hands, it brought together Brazilian musicians and refugees in the show “A Música é o meu refúgio”, in addition to other initiatives, such as Christmas gift distributions, storytelling sessions in orphanages and nursing homes in Rio de Janeiro, charity raffles, among many others.

With the pandemic, the Movement intensified its assistance activities and embraced philanthropic organizations from various sectors. It partnered with social institutions, collected half a ton of food, donated TV sets, exercise equipment, and masks to hospitals in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, streamed the show “Rio Mais Brasil, Nosso Musical” on YouTube, and received donations for residents of the Maré community (Instituto Viva Real), children with intellectual disabilities (Lar Maria de Lourdes), and underprivileged children (ONG Alfa).
Currently, in addition to Gustavo, the Movement includes the active participation of Luciana Savaget, a writer and journalist, and Viviane Brandão, an economist. Artists such as Alexandra Richter, Martha Medeiros, Julia Lemmertz, Evelyn Castro, and Roger Henri serve as patrons of its initiatives.
Over time, the goal is to expand awareness that we have the power to change our surroundings—but to do so, we must take action. The Chameleon Movement stands for action, adaptability, reinvention, and connection. It is also a network of solidarity that invites everyone, like the chameleon that chooses the color it wears, to wear the green of hope and unite in solidarity.

GROWTH
A social initiative that will provide 1,000 basic food baskets to vulnerable communities in Rio de Janeiro and its metropolitan region.
Turbilhão de Ideias and Movimento Camaleão operate in an integrated way.
In practice, this means that part of the creative energy — shows, projects, touring, and national reach — connects with structured social initiatives, focused on dignity, opportunity, and real presence in vulnerable territories. Cultural projects begin to generate measurable impact: donations, training, mobilization, and access.
Movimento Camaleão puts into practice Turbilhão de Ideias’ commitment to inclusion and civic responsibility.
It is a simple and objective movement: if culture moves people, it can also move pathways.
