The verses of Renato Russo that Cássia Eller sang for so many years speak a lot about the artist's personality, a real “beast” on the stage, but who could be a weird and shy animal outside of it. Woman of few words, singer of infinite sounds and such a sweet and friendly voice in life, she was strong and surprising in art. Near to turn 40 and at the height of her career, Cássia Eller died and left us an eternal legacy.

Cássia Eller, O Musical (Cassia Eller, the Musical) highlights the career of one of the most outstanding voices in brazilian popular music. The show is one of the most successful musicals in the brazilian scene, having been seen by more than 350 thousand spectators, after touring through all 27 Brazilian capitals and several other cities in the country. The plot shows the artist even before the start of her career and follows her entire musical trajectory, without leaving aside her lovers, especially Maria Eugênia, her partner with whom she raised her son Chicão. 

The musical was directed by João Fonseca and Viniciús Arneiro, conceived by Gustavo Nunes and produced by Turbilhão de Ideias Entretenimento. The text was written by Patrícia Andrade, who researched into the work of Cássia and interviewed family and friends who helped her build a faithful mosaic on the history of the singer. The musical direction is by Lan Lanh, who played for years with Cássia and has total ownership in the singer's work. The script goes through songs that were immortalized by her, such as Malandragem, All Star and Por Enquanto.

With a plot that addresses themes such as female protagonism, diversity and the LGBT cause, the show is more up to date and necessary than ever for society.
