From August 22nd to 24th , Praça das Fontes, in Parque da Cidade Sarah Kubitschek, will host the AnimaMix Festival Caixa Seguridade . With paid admission and programming aimed at audiences of all ages , the event brings together music, theater, circus, workshops, gastronomy and outdoor wellness activities.

 

Created by Gustavo Nunes, from the production company Turbilhão de Ideias, and presented by the Ministry of Culture and Caixa Seguridade, with master sponsorship from Caixa Vida e Previdência, the festival debuts with the purpose of establishing itself as one of the main cultural gatherings in Brasília . The proposal is to offer a diverse, inclusive and accessible experience, bringing together local, regional, national and international artists in a welcoming environment.

 

Among the highlights of the program is the show Vital – O Musical dos Paralamas , which pays homage to the 40th anniversary of the band Paralamas do Sucesso. Formed by Herbert Vianna, Bi Ribeiro and João Barone, the group has strong ties to Brasília and its story will be told through music and theater. The closing of the festival will be performed by Mart'nália , winner of two Latin Grammys, with the albums Mart'nália Canta Vinicius de Moraes (2019) and Misturado (2017).

 

AnimaMix also provides space to value the local cultural scene . Artists and bands from the Federal District will be able to participate in the program through a public notice, with applications open until July 27th. The result will be announced on August 4th, on social media and on the festival's official website.

 

The program starts on Friday (22/08), from 6pm to 10pm, with performances by selected artists. On Saturday (23/08), the event takes place from 2pm to 10pm. On Sunday (24/08), the program starts at 10am and continues until 9pm.

 

In addition to the shows, the public will be able to enjoy theater performances, instrumental music performances, creative workshops and a kids' space with storytelling, toys and recreation. The gastronomic area will highlight chefs and producers from the Federal District, while the wellness area will feature meditation, yoga, massages and other relaxing activities. One of the stages will be dedicated to choro, a traditional genre of Brazilian music, with workshops aimed especially at children. All the attractions will be divided between two stages set up on site.
